So a lot has been changing in my life. And not just the big stuff. I mean little stuff too. Here is what I have noticed
(1) The produce market near my house has undergone a renovation. I love this market. Lots of fresh produce but I can also do just about all of my grocery shopping there as well. Well up until recently it was not the nicest place in the world. However, I never really noticed because it wasn't filthy or gross, it was just a little run down. They have recently done a bit of renovation--a little at a time. First I noticed that they had replaced the laminate on the check-out counter. before it had peeled away in places. Now the counters are completely recovered. Then I walked in one day and noticed they had put down new parquet wood flooring. Now I'm not sure what this looked like before--it's possible it could have just been bare concrete. Then when I went in this weekend I noticed that they had either added more light or just replaced all the bulbs. Regardless now it is really bright and well lit. Not that it was too terribly dark before, but now it is really bright. Now I love it even more.
(2) Facebook has changed. Although, I'm not quite sure how the new facebook is much better than the other.
(3) Scrabulous is gone on facebook. You probably read about this in the newspaper or on-line. Copyright infringement, blah, blah, blah. So the new option was wordscraper created by the people who did scrabulous and Scrabble beta created by the people who own the scrabble copyright in the US and Canada. I don't like wordscraper. I like Scrabble beta alright but it seems a little graphics heavy.
(4) The economic crisis has finally affected me. And by that mean the cost of my super baby burrito at my local taqueria has gone up in price. Before it was $4.88 and now it is $5...something. (I haven't gotten the new price memorized yet, but give me time.) That price had been the same for five years.
(5) The hole in the big toe of my blue striped socks has gotten bigger.
Ehh. So none of these are big changes they are just changes. I'm wondering if I'm noticing them more befcause of the big change that happened this year.
Peace out!

OMG. I noticed the price of apple fritters has gone up at Happy Donut! I hate the recession.
